These brushes are made of soft foam instead of a natural or nylon bristle like most other brushes. The soft foam will not scratch, chip or break your valuable crystal. The brushes are lightweight and very durable. The manufacturer says the brushes will outlast most brushes by 10 times and most sponges by 20 times! We have used these great brushes at edish for a couple of years now, and we have yet to wear one out.
The foam’s special formula composition does not absorb water so it will never become soggy and limp during use. It also allows the brushes to dry off quickly which will help prevent bacterial growth. A quick rinse under fresh water and the brush is ready for the next time you need it.
The flute brush fits perfectly all the way in to long narrow fluted champagnes and the goblet brush will fit in to waters, wines and just about everything else. The decanter brush is a must for reaching way down in to carafes, pitchers and of course, decanters. It can be bent to get into corners and around curves, then straightened back out after use. Although the brushes are sold separately, having one of each of these can come in very handy
