IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING SELLING CHINA OR CRYSTAL
1. Make a complete list of the pieces you have in perfect condition along with
the name of the manufacturer and pattern name. (Include any other identifying marks such
as pattern number.)
2. Fill out our request bid form or email us or call us with this information.
3. One of our buyers will get back to you with a price quote. All price quotes assume that your pieces are in mint perfect condition. We are occasionally able to buy pieces that are scratched, crazed or otherwise worn or flawed at a reduced price. We encourage you to look at your pieces closely under a strong light so that you are aware of the condition of your pieces. A fluorescent light works best.
4. If you decide to ship your items to us, please preview our 'shipping
suggestions' page to obtain information about the best way to do so. Please make sure
to get a price quote before shipping your items to us and please make sure to include your name,
address, phone number and a list of the items you are sending with your shipment. (If you are
thinking that this sounds like an obvious step, you should know that we used to think the same thing).
5. All offers made by edish to purchase your dinnerware assume that you pay the cost of shipping
your items to us.
6. If you would like to sell your items in person in our Salt Lake City, Utah or Houston,
Texas stores, we do ask that you call to schedule an appointment and get a quote BEFORE you
bring them in. All buying in both stores is BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
7. Once we receive your items, we will unpack them and check their condition. We will call you
if there are any deductions due to the condition of your pieces. Once you have approved the
total, your check will be mailed with an itemized receipt detailing our purchase from you.
